On Saturday, May 15, 2010, Sarah Palin and Jan Brewer announced the launching of a new website in support of Arizona law
Brewer said, as she cited the large number of human and drug smugglers coming into Arizona and threatening citizens, "Our purpose today is to help the rest of the nation understand the crisis which confronts our state."
She went on to explain that the new site was an effort to educate Americans about border security and discourage proposed economic boycotts of the state.
According to Fox News through the AP, "The site, funded by Brewer's re-election campaign, shows pictures of Brewer and Palin and invites visitors to sign a petition opposing boycotts. It includes a list of politicians and organizations calling for the boycotts and asks visitors to call or e-mail to "let them know that you support Arizona."'
Many of us support Governor Brewer in her effort to protect Arizona families. We feel angry that other cities, in effor to be politically correct and placate large latino populations, are attempting to pressure the state of Arizona into ignoring federal law as well as its own citizens. As a result, many of no longer want to visit the cities that intend to boycott Arizona.
